Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers got his wish when the team brought back Randall Cobb. Now, it appears he's interested in seeing another beloved Packer join forces with him once again.
Cobb posted a story urging Green Bay to sign former linebacker Clay Matthews. Rodgers fully endorsed that idea, re-posting this on his Instagram story:

Wouldn't it be awesome if the Packers actually ran it back with Matthews? After all, he was an absolute stud during his time with the franchise, collecting 83.5 sacks in 10 seasons while also making six Pro Bowls. Matthews also played a key part in the Packers winning their fourth Super Bowl in 2010.
Matthews played the 2019 season with the Los Angeles Rams but was without a team in 2020. You'd have to believe he's still keeping in shape with the hope of getting another chance. The Packers want to keep Rodgers happy, so maybe this could be a good idea to strengthen their defense.
Based on his reaction, it appears Clay Matthews is certainly interested in a reunion. Rodgers, Cobb, and Matthews all together again? This would totally feel like the early 2010s. Packers fans are all here for it considering these three know how to win it all.
