The update comes as a sigh of relief for the Packers. Their receiving corps has been dealing with its fair share of injuries as of late. The absence of their best wideout would prove crucial against a divisional opponent.

While it is encouraging to have Adams back, he will have his work cut out going against cornerback Darius Slay. this Detroit defense is also just two weeks removed from shutting down the New England Patriots. Regardless, he is expected to take on a heavy workload.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers vented his frustration with the struggles on offense following their win against Buffalo. Part of his frustration was Adams' recent lack of involvement. The Pro Bowler still has yet to top 100 yards receiving in a single game this season. However, he has managed to build quite a rapport with Rodgers in the red zone after scoring a touchdown in three of their first four games. They will be looking to get their connection back on track this week.
