The Green Bay Packers are just 3-4-1 through eight games this season and are in danger of missing the playoffs for the second-straight year. The Packers have been able in these types of situations before and have managed to turn things around, but Randall Cobb this time isn’t quite the same.
“We've lost games before here, but this just feels different,” said receiver Randall Cobb per Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “And it doesn't feel good. It's not fun. But we've got to figure something out.”
“Yeah, I mean we definitely need some momentum, we need to get a win,” Cobb said. “I can tell you, this isn't fun. Very frustrating and it's tough. Because I know what we're capable of and we're not there. I don't know what it is, but we've got to find a way to get it done.”
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why it is that there’s a different feeling to this year’s team. Aaron Rodgers’ Week 1 knee injury certainly didn’t help as he wasn’t able to practice for most of the first half of the season.

Whatever it is that’s different about this year, the Packers still have time to turn things around. And as former Packers great Brett Favre points out, it's hard to completely rule them out since they still have Rodgers.
But clearly, they need to make some significant improvements, particularly on offense, to make a real run at the postseason.
