Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson took a beating in their win against the Dallas Cowboys after he was hit several times. As a result, he suffered a chest injury which put his status for Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills in some doubt.
However, Watson has assured everyone that he’s feeling great despite the injury and has guaranteed that he will indeed suit up against the Bills.

Watson is clearly one tough player as evidenced by the number of hits he takes seemingly on a regular basis. Some would argue that he’s too tough for his own good and that he puts himself in harm’s way more often than he actually needs to. Texans coach Bill O'Brien himself admitted that Watson taking too many hits is not a sustainable way to play.

He clearly gives them the best chance to win, especially with his backups being Joe Webb and Brandon Weeden. And it doesn't seem as if that chest injury seems particularly serious if Watson is already willing to say for sure that he'll be able to play.
After losing their first three games, the Texans have a golden opportunity to get back to .500 if they beat the Bills. They should like their chances of doing so a lot more with Watson under center.
Hopefully, though, Watson doesn’t suffer any further injury setbacks that would keep him out longer if he does play on Sunday. While beating the Bills is important, Watson’s long-term health should still be their No. 1 priority.
