The Houston Texans will get cornerback Kayvon Webster back after he has been rehabbing from a quad injury he suffered back in Week 5. Prior to this injury, Webster had torn Achilles injury last season after spending one season with the Los Angeles Rams. The Texans signed Webster back in late August and will join fellow cornerbacks Jonathan Joseph, Shareece Wright, and Kareem Jackson to provide further depth.

The Texans have one of the league's most talented defensive units headlined by players like J.J. Watt, Whitney Mercilus, Tyrann Mathieu, and Jadeveon Clowney. Kayvon Webster's veteran presence is key for a team poised to make a lot of noise in future seasons as well as the playoffs this season if Houston continues to build upon their impressive 2018 campaign.

According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk in regards to Webster's return, “He’ll have three weeks to practice with the team before they’d have to make a call on activating him, but he’s eligible to play against the Jets on Saturday should he be ready to play right away.”

It's likely the Texans have no need to rush Webster back until he's completely healthy, since he has already missed a significant amount of time. The Texans are also sitting comfortably in first place, and a matchup with the New York Jets likely won't interfere with that considering how excellent Houston has been lately. Webster will surely help the Texans going forward and add support to an already strong Houston secondary.
