The Houston Texans made a surprising move to cut ties with Brian Gaine as their general manager. This offseason was an important one for the Texans and they failed to make many moves on paper that makes them much better.

In an article for the Houston Chronicle, John McClain states that the “strained relationship” with Bill O'Brien led to Gaine's demise. The Texans fired Gaine after less than two seasons with the team—17 months to be exact.
