All offseason speculation has swirled about Deshaun Watson and not only his future with the Houston Texans, but his future in the NFL. Initially, it appeared clear that Watson wanted a trade and wanted out. Those plans all came to a halt after multiple sexual misconduct allegations came to the light and were put on the table.

Now, with training camp set to begin and Watson's future still relatively uncertain, the Texans do seem to have put a price on what a trade package would have to look like for them to part ways with the star quarterback.

It's interesting to note that Tom Pelissero of NFL Network mentions that the NFL hasn't placed Watson on the exempt list and that his civil cases won't be going to trial this year. It opens up the possibility for anyone who trades for the Texans' quarterback to feel good about his chances to play at least for this year. But given the trade asking price, the long term fogginess surrounding Watson, it could be quite the risk.

Watson is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. The Texans don't appear to be on the verge of competing for the postseason anytime soon so, it could be the perfect time for them to strike up a trade if they have no intentions of trying to add a bunch around the QB.

The asking price has been made clear and now, it'll be interesting to see if a team like the Eagles or Dolphins opt to pull the trigger and make the move.
