What is the deal with the Colts and the Chiefs constantly meeting in the postseason?
This will mark the fourth time since the 2003-04 campaign that Indianapolis and Kansas City have battled in the playoffs and the fifth time since the 1995-96 season.
The Colts have won all four previous postseason meetings with the Chiefs, most recently in January 2014 when Andrew Luck and Indianapolis rallied from a 38-10 second-half deficit to come away with a thrilling 45-44 win.
Kansas City had a first-round bye in these playoffs after winning 12 games and capturing the No. 1 seed in the AFC, so the Chiefs will be the favorites in this matchup.

The Colts have now won 10 of their last 11 games, rebounding from an ugly start to become just the third team since the AFL/NFL merger to make the playoffs are beginning the season 1-5.
Kansas City, meanwhile, is not entering the postseason playing its best football.
The Chiefs lost two of their final three games during the regular season, dropping back-to-back contests to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks in Weeks 15 and 16.
Still, in spite of their recent struggles, Kansas City still has MVP candidate Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, so this should be an incredibly fun matchup between two strong offenses in a hostile environment at Arrowhead Stadium.
