Indianapolis Colts star quarterback Andrew Luck has helped guide his team squarely back into the playoff picture, riding a five-game winning streak into Week 13.
Luck's high level of play has also guided him into the conversation for the MVP award, as he has been the driving force for the Colts to possibly secure a playoff spot. Beyond that, Luck has also notched eight straight games with at least three touchdown passes while only failing to throw multiple touchdown passes just once. He is on pace to throw for 4,527 yards with a career-best 47 touchdown passes to 16 interceptions. Luck has been everything and more for the Colts this season as the primary reason for their success over the last several weeks.
If Luck continues on this path, it will not only be hard to deny him a true shot at earning the MVP award, but also the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. He has made a remarkable return after missing all of last season due to major shoulder surgery. Ultimately, what should be taken away from this is that Luck is now firmly in the conversation for this honor alongside Mahomes and Brees.
