The Indianapolis Colts offense fell flat in Week 13. Unfortunately, their chances at a bounce-back seem to be at risk with wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and tight end Eric Ebron missing practice.

Both players were unable to take part in Wednesday's session. According to George Bremer of The Herald Bulletin, Hilton and Ebron missed practice for the second consecutive day.

Looks like T.Y. Hilton is not practicing for a second straight day. Eric Ebron also out again with illness.

The update is certainly not an encouraging one. Although the offense was shut out by the Jacksonville Jaguars last week, Hilton and Ebron still enjoyed relatively strong outings after combining for 18 receptions and 151 yards. The prospect of quarterback Andrew Luck being without his best two weapons in the passing game is undoubtedly a scary notion.

Hilton has dealt with a number of injuries throughout the 2018 campaign. He was even forced to miss two games earlier in the season due to a hamstring injury.

Since then, the Colts seem to have taken a rather cautious approach with his health. His participation on Friday could very well determine his status for Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ebron's status seems to be much easier to predict. If there is a silver lining to his absence, it is that illnesses are not often a prolonged hinderance.

Indianapolis is hoping Ebron can feel better by game time. They will certainly need all the help they can get against the formidable Houston Texans defense, especially if Hilton is unable to suit up.
