The AFC South showdown between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts was already pegged as one of the more notable matchups going into the weekend. However, Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton and Texans cornerback Jonathan Joseph have managed to spice things up ahead of game time.
Hilton referred to NRG Stadium as his “second home” following a win in early December. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Joseph has since responded with some trash talk of his own:

This matchup between these two division rivals was already poised to be a heated showdown. Both teams traded wins on the road in their previous two matchups. The comments between two of the more notable players in the game add fuel to the fire.
Unfortunately for Joseph, Hilton has managed to back up his smack talk with some stellar numbers against the Texans throughout his career. The speedster has racked up 76 receptions for 1,445 yards and nine touchdowns in his career versus Houston. He recorded a solid percentage of that total by registering 13 receptions for 314 yards in both games this season.
At this point, he has every right to claim NRG as his second home until Joseph and the rest of the secondary can find a way to contain him. They will need to do so if they hope to advance to the Divisional Round for the first time since the 2016 playoffs.
