Patrick Mahomes became a bit richer after signing his historic contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason. According to ESPN's Louis Riddick, Mahomes bought a brand new Ferrari following his huge contract with Kansas City.

Earlier this month, Mahomes made headlines when he signed a massive 10-year, $503 million extension with the Chiefs. Even though Mahomes still technically had two years remaining on his rookie deal, Kansas City felt comfortable giving him 10 more years on his current contract.
Seeing that Mahomes could earn up to $503 million on his new contract, the gunslinging quarterback appears to have some extra money to spend. Therefore, he decided to spend money on a sleek Ferrari as one of his first purchases since he put pen to paper earlier this offseason.
Besides buying a Ferrari, Mahomes also made history on Tuesday. At the young age of 24 years old, Mahomes became a part-owner of the Kansas City Royals MLB franchise. As a result, he became the youngest part-owner of any sports franchise in history.
In the past two seasons, Mahomes has evolved into the best quarterback in the NFL with the Chiefs. The 2018 NFL MVP was able to carry over his success from 2018 into 2019, throwing for 4,031 yards, 26 touchdowns, and five interceptions. It's important to note that Mahomes missed two games due to a knee injury last season.
Of course, his biggest achievement thus far was helping Kansas City win the Super Bowl in February. From celebrating the team's Super Bowl victory, getting a $503 million extension, becoming a part-owner of an MLB team, to purchasing a Ferrari, it seems as if Mahomes is enjoying his offseason.
