Just who is the fastest player in the NFL? Well, we might be able to find out this offseason after Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill agreed to take on Seattle Seahawks wideout DK Metcalf in a race.

Metcalf recently declared himself the fastest man in the NFL and even laughed at the though of losing a race against Hill. He then proudly said that he “can beat Tyreek Hill in a race,” per TMZ.

Upon hearing what the Seahawks star said, the Chiefs leader took to Twitter to accept that indirect challenge. In fact, he went as far as to calling out Olympic legend Usain Bolt and asking him to a race after he warmed up against Metcalf.

You got to love Tyreek Hill's confidence here. It sure looks like he has full trust in the jet throttles in his legs, and DK Metcalf could be in for a tough time if their race indeed pushes through.

Of course this could all just be friendly offseason banter, but in all fairness, a lot of people would want to see that race happen. After all, who doesn't want to have that bragging rights? The only way we can find out the fastest player in the NFL is through a competition anyway.

As for Usain Bolt, he interestingly responded and reminded the Chiefs wide receiver that his last name is Bolt. Naturally, there is no doubt “he's the fastest man ever.”

How about a three-way race between Metcalf, Hill and Bolt just for the fun of it? Now that would be an offseason battle no one would want to miss!
