For a moment, it appeared as though the Los Angeles Chargers were going to secure an upset over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. However, kicker Harrison Butker did his part to ensure that the defending Super Bowl champions would remain undefeated.
Butker capped a perfect outing with his second 58-yard bomb to win the game in overtime for the Chiefs against the Chargers.

With the Chiefs in desperate need of some points in the third quarter, head coach Andy Reid allowed Butler to attempt a 58-yard field goal that split the uprights. Aside from tying a franchise record with the kick, it also put the team in striking distance to secure the comeback victory.
Butker went on to nail a 30-yarder to send the game into overtime before hitting yet another 58-yard attempt to win the game for the Chiefs and effectively spoil the NFL debut for quarterback Justin Herbert. His accuracy on deep kicks and nerves of steel will only serve to make this team that much more formidable the rest of the way.
Herbert had a nice outing in his first-ever NFL start for the Chargers after a late scratch to veteran Tyrod Taylor. He threw for over 300 yards with one passing touchdown, one rushing TD, and an interception.
However, the Chiefs, along with Butker's leg, were too much for the up-and-coming Chargers.
