After a first quarter that saw him throw two interceptions and take a 30-yard sack, it was back to regular programming for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs against the Miami Dolphins.

And as usual, Tyreek Hill was once again there to help Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense regain its deadly form withĀ this 44-yard touchdown:

The play happened with 13:50 left in the third quarter after the Chiefs got the ball out of halftime. After a few seconds looking for a target, the reigning Super Bowl MVP found Hill for a score, which was also the wide receiver's first catch of the day.

Hill also first put the Chiefs on the board in the second quarter with a 32-yard rushing touchdown in his first carry of the game, giving him two touchdowns against the Dolphins.

Mahomes, meanwhile, now has two touchdown passes and over 300 yards passing after an uncharacteristic first quarter that saw him throw two interceptions, doubling his interceptions in the first 12 games, while also taking a historic sack from Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker for a loss of 30 yards.

It took the Chiefs some time, but it seems as if they have regained their bearings. Kansas City's offense is finally prevailing against a strong Miami defense that shut them down for one quarter.
