Kareem Hunt became the second player this week to be in hot water. Less than a week after Reuben Foster's arrest, it was the ex-Kansas City Chiefs running back who was added to the list of “woman-beaters” in the NFL.
TMZ obtained a 79-second video that showed Hunt running amok at a five-star hotel in Cleveland.
At the beginning of the clip, he can clearly be seen shoving a woman after a brief argument. Unfortunately, he did not stop there, a couple of men tried to restrain him, but ended up being shoved as well.
Hunt then bull-rushed the same woman, and it can be seen near the end of the clip that he also kicked her while she's on the ground.
It is a very disturbing video, and there's no doubt this will affect Hunt's career in the league.
The Chiefs then sent Hunt home after the release of the video. The incident has been addressed by the team before, but it was only released to the public Friday.
As expected, the incident garnered several reactions in social media.
Natalie Egenolf of NBCSPhilly stated that the league should try to eradicate this kind of behavior by the players.
This isn’t about Kareem Hunt.
This isn’t about Reuben Foster.
This isn’t about Ray Rice.
This isn’t about Greg Hardy. This is about the @nfl, a systemic problem, and their negligence to try and eradicate this behavior for the sake of winning football games.

Brad Evans of YahooSports expressed his disgust on the recently released video.
Article Continues BelowJust saw the Kareem Hunt video. Reprehensible. Inexcusable. Disgusting. Chiefs organization and the league needs to act justly and swiftly.

Tony Posnaski tweeted that the league allows players with history of beating up women to play again. But Colin Kaepernick isn't being given a second chance due to his protests.
Kareem Hunt will play again…
Colin Kaepernick will not…
Because in the NFL it’s okay to abuse but not okay to protest abuse.

Hunt is undeniably a talented player. Above all, he has done a good job in his two seasons in the NFL with 2,151 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns in that span.
Still, character is important for the players who enter the league.
