The Oakland Raiders may be looking to sign C.J. Anderson.

As the Raiders continue to look to beef up their roster, they hosted the former Pro Bowl running back for a workout on Monday, according to Field Yates of ESPN.

Anderson actually spent some time with Oakland last season, but only spent six days on the roster in the month of December before he was released. He didn't appear in any games with the Raiders.

Just as it had appeared Anderson's career may be over following his release from Oakland, the 28-year-old running back latched on with the Los Angeles Rams and exploded over the last two games of the regular season. Anderson combined to rush for 290 yards in wins over the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.

He also ran for 122 yards in the Divisional Round win over the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs.

Anderson had entered the 2019 season with the Detroit Lions, but was released after just two games. He had carried the ball 16 times for 43 yards and zero touchdowns prior to his release.

Since being released by the Lions, Anderson had worked out for the Houston Texans and New York Giants over recent weeks.

The veteran running back has rushed for 3,497 yards and 22 touchdowns in his seven-year career. He made the Pro Bowl at the conclusion of the 2014 season and won Super Bowl 50 as the Denver Broncos' starting running back.

The Raiders currently have two running backs on the roster in starter Josh Jacobs and Jalen Richard. Obviously, the team could use some depth and Anderson may be that guy moving forward.
