There is nothing final on potential new deals for Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp, but Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay emphasized that they are more than determined to keep the two long-term in LA.

Donald and Kupp are key cogs in the Rams' Super Bowl run last season, so there is no doubt the team would want to keep them as long as possible. However, the lack of commitment between the two parties might be confusing for some, especially since it's a no-brainer that they need the star defensive tackle and wide receiver.

According to McVay, though, the Rams have had “good dialogue” with both players.

“Those are things that are still at the forefront of our thoughts,” McVay added, per team reporter Stu Jackson.

That certainly sounds good for Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp and the Rams franchise. Besides, keeping the two happy is top priority for them now after locking in Matthew Stafford earlier in the offseason.

Donald is signed through the 2024 season, while Kupp is in contract with the team until the 2023 campaign.

With the NFL Draft coming up, though, the Rams might have their minds occupied for that event. With that said, for anyone looking forward for any decision on the future of Donald and Kupp in LA, it probably won't come until after the draft at the least.
