The much-anticipated Week 14 game between the Miami Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs was billed as a matchup of the Dolphins’ stingy defense and the Chiefs’ high-powered offense.
In the first quarter of the game, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes felt that defense in a big way. Not only was Mahomes intercepted twice (he had two picks all season before this game), but he was also sacked by Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker for a loss of 30 yards.
The sack was historic:

According to @EliasSports, Mahomes is the 1st player to lose 30+ yards on a sack without fumbling since Phil Simms on Nov. 18, 1979 vs the Buccaneers. pic.twitter.com/ZJPFyVnemj

It's unlike Mahomes to look so uncomfortable, but the Dolphins have made life pretty tough on him so far. It's rare to see such a loss of yardage on sacks without a fumble, but the Chiefs star quarterback wasn't able to escape Baker as he scrambled well behind the line of scrimmage.
This drive, which was the Chiefs’ second of the day, ended on a punt after their first one ended in an interception. Mahomes had been sacked just 15 times this season entering this game against the Dolphins, and this one put them in a big hole. Baker, a third-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, now has 3.5 sacks this season.
The Dolphins, who currently have an 8-4 record, are looking to hand the 11-1 Chiefs just their second loss of the season, which would go a long way in strengthening their playoff hopes.
