Fox Sports Mexico announced on Monday night the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots would be facing off at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The Dolphins have already agreed to give up one home game to play an international game, but that might not end up being in Mexico after all. The Dolphins have given up home games in 2005, 2015, and 2017 seasons to play in London.
Even though the NFL is denying the report, it still seems highly likely that at least one NFL game is going to be played in Mexico City. The NFL has played games in Mexico in 2005, 2016, 2017, and 2019. The Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs were supposed to play in 2018, but the field conditions were too bad the game had to be moved.
