The Minnesota Vikings failed to make a statement against the Chicago Bears in Week 4. It is safe to say that the offense led by quarterback Kirk cousins was at fault for a 16-6 loss.
The Vikings simply could not get anything going against this formidable Bears defense. Cousins admits the team struggled to find any balance on offense, via Vikings Twitter:

The lack of balance on offense has been an issue in Minnesota dating back to last season. There was hope that they had finally figured out an approach following a solid start to the 2019 NFL season. Unfortunately, they were virtually non-existent in Chicago.
Cousins struggled to find his footing against this Bears pass rush and wound up completing 27 of 36 passes for 233 yards and zero touchdowns. His inability to make them pay in the passing game allowed the defense shore up more than enough help in the box in order to contain running back Dalvin Cook, which they did after he was limited to 35 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.
Unfortunately, the performance from Cousins brings a much more pressing concern to the forefront. It is no secret he has struggled to win crucial games throughout his career and losses such as this only help to solidify that notion. Finding success against this Bears' defense may be a tall task, however, the offense will need to figure out a way to remain consistent against an NFC North Division that is loaded with talent on that side of the ball.
