Amid rumors brewing of a trade, wide receiver Stefon Diggs practiced with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday. His coach, Mike Zimmer, didn't do much to end those rumors, calling the situation an “internal matter,” according to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Will Diggs play on Sunday, against the New York Giants? “We'll have to see,” as Zimmer said, via Chad Graff of The Athletic.

Essentially, Zimmer said nothing, but he also said something saying the situation is an “internal matter.” However, Diggs is still a member of the Vikings. According to reports, it will stay that way as Minnesota told an interested team that he is not available.

Rumors and speculation of a Diggs trade are running rampant. Zimmer's comments didn't help that, neither did Diggs'.

Diggs responded to the rumors, saying, via Graff:

“There’s truth to all rumors. I won’t be speaking on that.”

When asked on whether he asked to be traded or not, he said, via Courtney Cronin of ESPN:

“I haven’t communicated anything. Moreso the conversations I’ve had have only been about team and trying to have success on the field.”

Diggs also mentioned that he is “unsure” if his agent asked for a trade. Per Cronin:

“I haven’t spoke to him about it. You’ve got to talk to him.”

Everything is cryptic. While Diggs was at practice, he proceeded to dump fuel into the fire of rumors of his trade. There is speculation on each side saying he will or won't get traded.

At this point, the trade deadline (October 29th) will best depict if Diggs continues to wear purple and gold.
