Antonio Brown is still upset about his release from the New England Patriots and proved that on Saturday night. Brown took to Instagram to troll the Patriots after New England's early playoff exit versus the Tennessee Titans.

Of course, Brown played in just one game with the Patriots earlier in the season following his release from the Oakland Raiders. The All-Pro wide receiver hauled in four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in his debut with New England.

His time catching passes from Tom Brady didn't last long as he was released by New England shortly after his first game with the franchise. The troubled wideout was accused of sexual assault by his former personal trainer.

Over the past few months, the NFL has been conducting an investigation on the matter while Brown remains a free agent. Teams in the NFL are welcome to sign him, but it's likely he would land on the Commissioner's Exempt List upon signing somewhere.

With that in mind, it is worth wondering what could have been had Brown remained in New England. As the season progressed, it was evident that the Patriots lacked a reliable playmaker. Besides Julian Edelman, the Patriots were relying on Mohamed Sanu, N'Keal Harry, and Phillip Dorsett at wide receiver.

If Brown didn't have off-the-field issues, he would've provided a much-needed boost to the offense. It's unfortunate that the 31-year-old wide receiver has been unable to get out of his own way. Maybe Brown and the Patriots can reunite in 2020 if Brown's situation is cleared up.
