The New England Patriots have lacked the ability to make plays in the passing game in 2019. As a result, CBS Sports has New England drafting Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins in their latest mock draft.
With the Patriots having a 10-2 record, they currently are projected to have the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Among their needs, wide receiver is definitely near the top of the list.
Therefore, it would only make sense for New England to consider using the pick on Higgins. The Clemson pass-catcher is regarded as one of the best wide receiver prospects in next year's draft and for good reason.
In 12 games this season, the junior wide receiver has hauled in 43 receptions for 900 yards and 10 touchdowns. At 6-foot-4, 205 pounds, Higgins is the perfect blend of height and speed that the Patriots could use in their offense.

Besides Harry, the Patriots are reliant upon Julian Edelman, Phillip Dorsett, and Mohamed Sanu at wide receiver. With Edelman not getting any younger, New England has to find his replacement soon.
Higgins is joined by a few other wide receivers as players who could find themselves being taken in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. If the Patriots are able to land Higgins, we may see Tom Brady play until he is 50-years-old.
