Even at nearly 40 years old, Drew Brees just keeps on going. Not only does the New Orleans Saints quarterback own the best record in the NFL this season at 12-2, but according to Pro Football Focus he's currently the highest-graded quarterback in the league.

Brees and the Saints are currently looking like a major favorite in the NFC as they head into the postseason. The offense is flying high, averaging over 32 points per game, while the defense currently ranks in the top-10 among all NFL teams. Brees has been exceptional, leading the league in completion percentage at 74.9 percent — which also would represent a career-high. The five interceptions that he has thrown in 14 games is two better of his current career-low as a starter, which he accomplished back in 2004 with the San Diego Chargers.

The Saints lost in Week 1 at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 48-40, but have been on an absolute tear ever since. Their only other loss this season was by a score of 13-10 in Dallas against the Cowboys three weeks ago, and in the last two weeks they've beaten the Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers on the road.

New Orleans will host the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Panthers in the final two weeks of the season as they march toward the playoffs.

Brees is a no-doubt Hall of Famer, having played 18 years in the NFL and with 12 Pro Bowls, one Super Bowl, and two Offensive Player of the Year awards to his credit. Since joining the Saints in 2006, Brees has led the NFL in touchdown passes three times, completion percentage five times, and passing yards seven times.
