The New York Jets made a huge splash in NFL free agency this year by signing superstar running back Le'Veon Bell. The addition of Bell is a massive upgrade for New York's ground game, but they didn't stop with the addition of the Pro Bowler as they've also agreed to a reunion with running back Bilal Powell.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Jets have agreed to terms with Powell.

Last season, Powell suffered a neck injury that ended his year and threatened to end his playing career in the NFL. Powell is said to be fully recovered from the scary injury and will likely help bolster New York's backfield during the 2019 campaign.
Bilal has played every snap in his NFL career with the Jets. He played seven games last year with the Jets before suffering the injury rushing for 343 yards on 80 carries. The Louisville product also caught 11 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown.
Although Powell has agreed to terms with New York, the running back's spot on the roster is anything but secure as he'll be battling it out with Elijah McGuire and Ty Montgomery for carries behind Bell.
Powell's best season with the Jets came back in 2017 when he rushed for a career-high 772 yards and five touchdowns. It remains to be seen whether Powell's best days are behind him or if he can bounce back and become part of a dynamic duo in the backfield along with Bell.
