The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly nearly completed a trade to send wide receiver Antonio Brown to the Buffalo Bills, but things fell apart at the last minute.

In the middle of the trade rumors, New York Jets safety Jamal Adams took to Twitter to express his, uh, feelings, about the potential deal:

Adams has been pushing for the Jets to trade for Brown, so, obviously, he would not have been very happy if the wideout landed on an AFC East rival.

But, it doesn't look like Adams has to worry about that. Not right now, at least.

Still, unfortunately for Adams, the Jets don't seem to be all that involved in Brown trade talks.

Many feel that Brown will ultimately end up with the Oakland Raiders, as they have the assets and the cap room to swing a deal for him. The Raiders boast three first-round picks in next month's NFL Draft, and they have $72 million in cap space to absorb the disgruntled receiver.

Brown is coming off of a season in which he hauled in 104 receptions for 1,297 yards and a league-leading 15 touchdowns, en route to his sixth straight Pro Bowl appearance.

However, Brown's off-the-field issues have caused him to wear out his welcome in Pittsburgh.

Things reached a boiling point in the week leading up to the season finale when Brown got into a heated dispute with Ben Roethlisberger and then refused to practice and went AWOL on the team before being consequently benched by head coach Mike Tomlin for the Steelers' Week 17 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
