New York Jets linebacker Jordan Jenkins hasn't had a lot of winning throughout his career since being drafted by the team in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
During a conference call with reporters on Thursday, Jenkins said that he's tired of losing and is hoping that the Jets will turn things around this season:

But honestly, happy to be back with the Jets. Always loved [Williams] and the staff that’s around here. And honestly, when I came here, the Jets didn’t have really a winning history and it really sucks that in the last four years we couldn’t get it done. But me being back here, being here four and going on five years, I’m tired of f—–g losing. So now, you’ve just got to ramp s–t up and try to get the ball rolling.”
The Jets have gone 21-43 since Jenkins joined the team. However, despite the bad seasons the franchise has had had, he still re-signed with them on a one-year, $5 million contract in April. This past season, Jenkins led the Jets with eight sacks, to go along with 32 tackles, three pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.
Nevertheless, the Jets haven't looked too good this offseason, despite Jenkins's wishes to turn things around this season. Jets star safety Jamal Adams was traded in July and linebacker C.J. Mosley opted out of the season for coronavirus-related reasons.
The Jets will be seeking to snap their nine-year playoff drought this season.
