The New York Jets dropped to 0-3 on Sunday afternoon after being routed by the New England Patriots by a score of 30-14 on their home turf.
Le'Veon Bell, the Jets' prized free-agent addition, had a miserable outing, carrying the ball 18 times for just 35 yards, not exactly what Gang Green was hoping to see out of the running back they paid $52 million this offseason.
Afterward, Bell took to Twitter to address all of the haters:
all you haters, enjoy it for now..just don’t go casper when all this gets turned around..we embrace adversity, we embrace the hate, and everyone that wants to see my team fail, or me fail individually, I’ll remember, we’ll remember it ALL, & use it, & wear it as a badge of honor!

Bell's tenure with New York has not exactly gotten off to a great start.
Through three games, he has totaled 163 yards off of 56 rushing attempts, good for a meager average of 2.9 yards per carry. He has also hauled in 20 receptions for 161 yards and a touchdown.

The Jets are also down to their third-string quarterback in Luke Falk, as Sam Darnold is sidelined with mono, and backup Trevor Siemian was knocked out for the season as a result of an ankle injury he suffered against the Cleveland Browns last week.
In addition, New York has been without a couple of its key defensive players, as linebacker C.J. Mosley and rookie defensive lineman Quinnen Williams have each missed the last two games.
The Jets will get a chance to rest and recuperate next week, as they will have an early bye week before heading on the road to take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 6.
