New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell spoke to TMZ about his relationship with head coach Adam Gase on Thursday, insisting he and Gase were “good” following Bell's exit meeting.

Le'Veon Bell says he has absolutely NO beef with his head coach Adam Gase … and tells TMZ Sports he wants to play for the NY Jets for AT LEAST the next few years!! “Me and coach Gase had our exit meeting,” Bell says. “It was fine, so we straight. Yeah, we good.”
“Everybody blowing everything out of proportion,” Bell says. “Water under the bridge — we're fine. We good … Jets for four more years unless something drastic changes.”
Of course, it is unknown what was said in that exit meeting. However, it is likely Gase and Bell laid it all to bare given the nature of their relationship, one filled with subliminal shots and cryptic tweets.
Gase was asked during his season-ending interview whether he wanted Bell on the team next year. Although he might have simply been evoking his usually curt self, Gase did not necessarily have Bell's back (via Andy Vasquez of northjersey.com):
“He’s under contract for three more years,” Gase said Monday, at his season-ending interview with reporters. “You can ask [general manager] Joe Douglas [on Tuesday]. … I’m not in charge of personnel.”
Bell attempted to take the high road by simply stating he wanted to win in New York, though he had previously voiced frustrations on social media.
The two-time All-Pro had a tough debut season with the Jets, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry, though he did rack up 1,250 yards from scrimmage.
However, the Jets figure to bolster the offensive line in the offseason and give Bell more opportunities next season so as to take pressure off quarterback Sam Darnold.
Regardless, the relationship between Bell and his head coach seems to be on even terms, for now.
