The 2019 NFL trade deadline has come and gone, and barring some news trickling in after the 4 p.m. ET stopping point, it's looking like the biggest moves have already been made.

One player that was not moved was New York Jets safety Jamal Adams.

The hot rumor earlier on Tuesday was that the Jets were talking to the Dallas Cowboys about a potential Adams deal, but apparently, the Cowboys were not the only team making a serious push for the defensive back.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Baltimore Ravens pursued Adams up until the deadline expired, but, obviously, the Ravens and Jets were unable to reach an agreement.

Adams has clearly been frustrated with the Jets this season, and who could blame him?

Thanks to a busy offseason in which New York added big names like Le'Veon Bell and C.J. Mosley, the Jets were expected by many to compete for a playoff berth in the AFC this year, but due to injuries and underwhelming performance across the board, Gang Green has gotten off to a 1-6 start and doesn't even resemble a contender.

Through seven games, Adams has logged 39 tackles, an interception, five passes defended and a defensive touchdown.

The 24-year-old, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the Jets with the sixth overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, totaling 82 tackles and a couple of sacks. He then followed that up by racking up 115 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 2018, making the Pro Bowl as a result.
