This offseason featured a number of star wideouts that had briefly hit the market. Now that it has been plucked dry, teams and players alike are carefully planning how to approach the 2018 NFL season.
Among them, is free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin. According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Maclin has received interest from a couple of NFC East rivals:
Free agent WR Jeremy Maclin still fielding his market. Two teams that had preliminary inquiries (Cowboys, Eagles) signed WRs already in Hurns & Wallace, per source. I'm told Maclin has no geographical limits, just waiting for the right fit. Currently training in Balt. & Philly.
Maclin, who spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens, is coming off the worst season of his career after registering just 40 receptions for 440 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. However, it was clear that he was just another casualty of an otherwise lackluster offense. That said, the veteran has still drawn plenty of interest from two intriguing teams.

However, the Dallas Cowboys may have a much larger role to offer in their receiving corps. Although Dallas has managed to shore up some depth with the addition of Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson, the uncertain future of Dez Bryant could play a major role in Maclin's role.
While he may be two seasons removed from his last 1,000-yard campaign, it is clear that he is looking for a team that plans to use him much more than Baltimore did.
