The Detroit Lions have disappointed so far this season, and their chances of making the playoffs are nearly nonexistent at this point. However, Jeff Driskel's hoping that he'll be able to return and play with the Lions for the remainder of the season.
According to Detroit Free Press' Dave Birkett, his hamstring is recovering and may be able to make an appearance for Detroit's Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears. As Matthew Stafford is still out with fractured bones in his back, he will want to play as many games as he can.

That’s part of the game, that’s part of this league is getting your body good to go, each and every week.”
The Lions coaching staff is doing their due diligence and is taking his injuries on a day-to-day basis. While they hope that the former Florida and Louisiana Tech pass-caller will be able to get back to shape on time, they aren't closing the possibility that they will have to play David Blough instead.
“He’s pretty sore still today,” Lions coach Matt Patricia said. “We were talking about it this morning, but he was walking around better, which is good.”
Driskel has been a solid performer in the pocket for the Lions. He's notched 685 passing yards and four touchdowns in his three starts. He's hoping to add to his stats when he gets to play on Thursday.
