People who passionately follow the NFL know that Colin Kaepernick just got his shot at an NFL comeback. While the circumstances leading to the workout could be considered bizarre, it's clear that Kap finally got the shot he's wanted to get over the past three years.
After doing more than 40 minutes of passing drills, the former San Francisco 49er spent some time talking with some of the scouts who went to his tryouts at Charles R. Drew High Scool. Afterward, he went to address the 250 fans who made a show of support. The message that he provided them was quite powerful.

Kap was more than thankful for those who have supported him through the years he's been out of the league. He said that the reason he denied the NFL's setup was for the sake of transparency. He also said that he appreciates them for sticking with him.

“I've been ready for three years; I've been denied for three years. We all know why I came out here, showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. So we're waiting for the 32 owners, the 32 teams, Roger Goodell, to stop running. Stop running from the truth. Stop running from the people.
“We're out here, we're ready to play. We're ready to go anywhere. My agent, Jeff Nalley, is ready to talk any team. I'll interview with any team at any time. I've been ready.”
The last time Kaepernick was in the NFL, he threw for 2241 yards and 16 touchdowns in 12 appearances. He's also shown during the workouts that he's still got the accuracy and has bulked up in preparation for a return to the NFL. Whether he gets that chance is a whole different question altogether.
