There is no question that Dez Bryant is hardly the caliber of wide receiver he used to be. Regardless, he is confident that he can still make an impact for any team willing to take a chance on him.
Bryant once again finds himself testing the market as a free agent this offseason. He said that he is capable of providing any team with plenty of bang for their buck with a post on Twitter.
I will be a steal wherever I go… bet on it
Although Bryant has struggled to find his footing in the NFL as of late, it is clear that he is not short on confidence. The question remains whether or not it is still well-warranted.
Bryant has not been an effective option for quite some time now. His modest production even spurred the Dallas Cowboys to part ways with him last offseason. Fortunately, he caught a bit of a break after signing with a New Orleans Saints team that was in desperate need of some depth in their receiving corps. Unfortunately, his tenure with the Saints was over before it even started after he tore his Achilles just two days after signing with the team.
Bryant already had a rough time trying to sell himself before. It has likely been more difficult for the 30-year-old to do that after coming off such a devastating injury. Regardless, there are not many wideouts on the market that boast the kind of resume he does. The veteran could ultimately prove to be a steal if he managed to land in the right situation on a contract that is based heavily on incentives.
