The biggest talking point for Week 11 in the NFL was the altercation between Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph was the Colin Kaepernick tryout he did earlier today. His professional career was given new lease of life as the league gave him a one-day audition for all 32 teams to check out.
While the circumstances surrounding the tryout are seen as suspicious by some, it's better for Kaepernick's career at this point to have one foot at the door than be kept out of it for longer. He now has a better shot at making an NFL roster compared to any point in time for the past three years.
Mike Freeman is more than thrilled that Kap showed teams his still-incredible passing accuracy, giving no teams in need of a QB an excuse to pass on him.
Bottom line with Kaepernick’s workout is this: it demonstrated why there isn’t, never was, and never will be a FOOTBALL reason for him to be out of the NFL.

David Gardner backs him up, saying it's the league that doesn't want him there.
It's as true today as it's been for the past three years: Colin Kaepernick is good enough to play in the NFL, but the NFL doesn't want him to

Some are already firing shots towards fans who still don't think Kaepernick has what it takes.

NFL Draft Diamonds pointed out to a statistic Kaepernick had during the tryout that would have plenty of teams drooling if he weren't vocal with his politics.
Kaepernick has hit the last 10 plus deep balls and he is on fire right now. You cannot say he does not deserve to be in the league. I am sorry. Don't @ ME

Teams with serious quarterback problems were sounded off.

Even LeBron James got in on the bandwagon, showing his support for a man who has sacrificed professional success for his beliefs.

Others still pointed to the fact that the entire thing was a useless spectacle and that the league doesn't really want him back.
This Kaepernick situation is the epitome of NFL foolishness. This was a PR stunt to try to back Kaepernick into a corner. Had he complained about anything, they would have tried to twist the narrative that he really doesn’t want to play.

Whatever the truth is, Colin Kaepernick has done his part and showed that he can still play. It's now up to the teams in the league to make the decision.
