It wasn't too long ago when Aaron Rodgers and Greg Jennings were almost inseparable. They helped lead the Green Bay Packers to a string of successful seasons. Things, however, went south when Jennings signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2013.
Jennings became critical of Rodgers and the Packers, which of course didn't sit well with the star quarterback. Until now, Jennings, who retired in 2016, admitted his relationship with Rogers is kaput (via Pioneer Press).
“We don’t text, we don’t communicate like that. We haven’t had an official sit-down, like bring it all in for a hug, since I left Green Bay. We had a great relationship (in Green Bay). Our relationship now has been non-existent. I tried to reach out to refurbish it but haven’t had any success. The acceptance from his side has just not been there.”
While there were many times that Jennings battled the Packers during his tenure with the Vikings and Miami Dolphins, he and Rodgers never patched things up. The three-time NFL MVP has repeatedly evaded the issue as well in past interviews.

“We talked and I apologized. Those were my feelings (at the time), but there was no need for me to say those things. It was done out of frustration, anger, because I wanted my career to remain and be knotted up like a nice little bow in Green Bay.”
It's quite unfortunate that Jennings and Rodgers have a non-existent relationship after what they've achieved together with the Packers. But with a new year coming, maybe it's time for them to hug it out and rekindle their friendship.
