The Chicago Bears defense is proving why they are considered the best in the league. With Khalil Mack seemingly all over the field in the first half, with two sacks in addition to two forced fumbles, the defense is all over Washington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum.

New addition to the secondary Ha Ha Clinton-Dix got the game started with a pick six off Keenum, and it was seemingly all downhill from there. It isn't just the offense that is struggling, as Dustin Hopkins missed a 43-yard field goal attempt that could have put the Redskins on the board.

While Washington can't catch any offensive momentum, the Bears' offense is capitalizing on their defense's dominance and the opportunities they have created.

One might wonder if another bad showing for Keenum could call for the head coach Jay Gruden to put in the highly anticipated rookie Dwayne Haskins that has yet to see a snap. With Washington 0-2 and looking at 0-3 by the end of Monday's game, they might be encouraged to put Haskins in after seeing the how fellow rookie Daniel Jones faired in his debut start.

As of now, it doesn't seem that Washington has much to play for this season and giving Haskins reps next week with a favorable matchup against the New York Giants might be seen as the best course of action to get some direction this season.
