The New Orleans Saints are cruising through the competition thanks to their strong passing game. Drew Brees is playing like an absolute star against the Atlanta Falcons, and Jared Cook showcased why the Saints receiving corps is one of the best in the entire NFL.
The play was a spectacular showcase for both players. Brees set him up for a first down when he made a laser-accurate pass. Cook was the man who kept his balance and shet his mark to gain more yards in the process.

It's been a solid game for Cook so far. He's leading all receivers in terms of receiving yards with 85 on three catches. He's been the most effective target for Brees–who has 147 passing yards to his name–and it wouldn't be surprising if the 40-year-old pass-caller will look his way more often in the second half.
Thanks to their efforts, the Saints are ahead of the Falcons, 17-9. They will want to keep this lead going and finish strong, so expect more passes like this to happen.
