Throughout his 2018 season, Hopkins dropped exactly zero passes, all while hauling in 48.0% of the deep passes thrown his way, which was good for the seventh-highest rate in the NFL. While some of the passes made his way obviously were over or under thrown, the fact that Hopkins was able to convert nearly half of them into catches is extremely good.
While Hopkins’ skills have been known for some time, especially when it comes to his hands, the 2018 season was a breakout season for just how good he can be. With a fully healthy Deshaun Watson under center, Hopkins posted career highs in receptions (115) and receiving yards (1,572), all while bringing in 11 touchdowns on the year.

Thankfully for them, Hopkins seems more than up to the task, and if last season was any indication, he’ll be one of the leagues best for some time.
