There has been plenty of buzz surrounding the New England Patriots' matchup with the Buffalo Bills in Week 16. Not only are there playoff implications on the line, but Bills players have been vocal about remembering what had happened between these two teams the last time they played.

Many are well-aware of superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski's dirty hit on Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White that led to the former's one-game suspension. Despite some cryptic threats from Bills players in the week leading up to Sunday, Gronkowski is not going to let the thought of any potential retaliation affect his game, according to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk:

“I’ve just been preparing all week, just like any other week,” Gronkowski said. “Preparing for a big game on Sunday with the team, with the boys and just going to be ready for a hard-fought battle. Every single time we play the Bills they’re always battling hard. They’re always mentally tough. They’re always physically tough and this will be a big game Sunday. We’ve just got to keep on preparing. We’ve got another 48 more hours to go before kickoff so just make sure I’m ready to go.”

It should come as no surprise that Gronkowski does not seem to be phased by any disgruntled players on Buffalo's defense. As one of the most boisterous personalities in the league, “Gronk” has had his fair share of altercations with fellow players.

That said, perhaps it is best not for the Bills not to be too intent on seeking revenge as they hope to take on step closer to a potential AFC Wild Card berth. Even White himself has acknowledged that the best form of revenge they can get is with a win in Foxborough.
