Huls had arrived in Philadelphia alongside head coach Chip Kelly as a member of the new sports science program. Mansoori joined during the offseason of 2018 after the departure of head physician Peter DeLuca and his staff. The move should hardly come as any surprise considering the Eagles been riddled with injuries for the past two seasons and it is clear that they are now looking to shake things up.

Philadelphia has experienced quite the reversal of fortunate when it comes to dealing with injuries in recent years. They had once been one of the healthiest teams in the league prior to their Super Bowl run. Unfortunately, their decision to part ways their top two doctors and the head trainer following the championship has clearly had a major impact on their ability to stay healthy.

The Eagles finished as the most injured team in 2018 and are once again expected to rank near the bottom after what had transpired in the 2019 campaign. The fact that they still boast one of the oldest rosters in the NFL puts a spotlight on the necessity to have a good rehabilitation system in place.
