Jason Kelce went into the Eagles' Week 14 bye with an ankle injury suffered in their Week 13 win against the Jets. He has had a few lower body injuries now this season, including a knee injury from Week 12 against the Giants
However, the veteran center had nothing but positive news to share with the media following the Eagles' practice on Wednesday. According to Kelce, his recovery is moving along smoothly.

“Bye week came at a really good time, I feel really good right now…playing, feel really, really good,” the offensive lineman said Wednesday afternoon. Prior to this, he was a limited participant in practice due to his ankle injury, as well as a rest opportunity.
Kelce is right. The bye week for this Philadelphia team could not have come at a better time. There were multiple key players that greatly benefitted from the extra rest, quarterback Jalen Hurts being one of them. He was unable to play in Week 13 due to an ankle injury, but has utilized the extra time to prepare for their must-win matchup against the Washington Football Team on Sunday.
The Eagles are currently 6-7 and third in the NFC East. If they have any chance at scoring a playoff position late in the season, the health of Kelce is crucial. The team's Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee is the leader of the Eagles' offensive line.
