The Philadelphia Eagles had arguably the best outcome of the 2022 NFL Draft. It makes sense since the team had three first-round picks to start the offseason. They managed to pick up a ton of talented rookies and AJ Brown in a trade with the Tennessee Titans with their picks.
One of the biggest steals for the Eagles, however, didn't come until the third round. Philadelphia selected Nakobe Dean 83rd overall. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Dean was considered “one of the best linebackers in college football” heading into the draft.
So why didn't anyone scoop him up in the first 82 selections? Rapoport said during draft weekend that Dean suffered a “severe pec strain” that he chose not to have surgery on. He said that this was “the cause for concern for some teams.”

However, it doesn't seem like any injury is affecting Dean ahead of the 2022-2023 NFL season. He told the media that he was set to be a full participant at rookie camp practice on Friday.
NBC Sports Philadelphia writer Dave Zangaro tweeted the news.

This is great news for the Eagles, a team looking to bring promising young talent to its defensive line. He accompanied his Georgia teammate Jordan Davis at their first NFL practice Friday afternoon (per Dave Zangaro).

Now, as a full participant in early offseason practices, the Eagles do not expect Dean to miss any time due to injury (per CBS Sports).
