The Philadelphia Eagles are apparently one of many teams eyeing C.J. Mosley in free agency.
According to NFL Update, the league's top available inside linebacker is being courted by the Eagles, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets, and Washington Redskins, while the Baltimore Ravens still have hopes of bringing him back. The Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns have also expressed interest in Mosley.

The Ravens decided against using the franchise tag on the 26-year-old last week. In late January, new Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta expressed optimism that Mosley will be wearing and purple and black going forward.
“I think everything's on the table right now,” he said, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. “I certainly hope that C.J. is back. I believe in my heart that he will be. Talent wins in the NFL, and he's a Pro Bowl linebacker, so we're going to do everything we can to make sure C.J. is back on the team.”
Mosley has been a linchpin of Baltimore's defense since being selected with the 17th overall pick of the 2014 draft. He's made the Pro Bowl in four out of his five NFL seasons, including 2018, when he finished with 105 tackles, six tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, and five passes defensed.
The Eagles have long been reluctant to invest heavily at linebacker, and some reports indicate Mosley is commanding up to $16 million per season. With incumbent middle linebacker Jordan Hicks entering free agency, though, it makes sense for Philadelphia to kick the tires on Mosley regardless before he ultimately comes to a decision.
