Salary cap space issues or not, the Philadelphia Eagles aren't blinking. They've already managed to keep one of their own.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the defending Super Bowl 52 champs have re-signed linebacker Nigel Bradham to a five-year, $40 million deal.

Bradham, 28, is a six-year veteran of the NFL, playing four seasons for the Buffalo Bills and the last two with the defending champion Eagles.

This past season, he helped anchor a terrific Philly defense as an outside backer of Jim Schwartz's 4-3 defense. All told, he compiled 61 tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and eight pass breakups.

Bradham has yet to make the NFL Pro Bowl, but he's represented a solid 4-3 outside linebacker since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2012 draft by the Bills.

The deal now secures the Philadelphia Eagles one side of the second-level this coming season in their pursuit to capture back-to-back Vince Lombardi Trophies.
