Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is dealing with a back injury that is probably going to sideline him for the rest of the year but this isn't the first time that he has dealt with a back injury.
According to Tim McManus of ESPN Wentz dealt with a stress fracture in his back that happened before his time at North Dakota State but it was discovered during his redshirt season. The current injury didn't have anything to do with the previous injury but this still has to be a concern for the Eagles.
Wentz is officially week to week with the injury but it's hard to imagine the team is going to go away from Nick Foles, especially when he is winning the team games.

The good news for Wentz is that he doesn't need surgery to correct the issue and the best way to heal is time.
“The fact that he doesn't need surgery on this, I mean, is the best news that you could possibly have on anybody that has a stress fracture or a stress injury in this case,” Pederson said last week. “As long as we take the proper steps to make sure that all our players are 100 percent, then [there is no long-term concern].”
The Eagles next game is on Sunday against the Houston Texans and it needs to be treated as a must win.
