With the Super Bowl coming to a close, teams in the NFL are beginning to evaluate roster moves they can make in the offseason. While the Philadelphia Eagles seem set on trading Carson Wentz, they aren't in any rush to trade him until they get the offer they like, per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
From NFL Now on @nflnetwork: No indications right now a Carson Wentz trade is imminent. Everybody playing poker, as the #Eagles wait for an offer that's to their liking while the #Bears and #Colts explore their options. pic.twitter.com/wD6GHmE9wV

Sometimes teams wait until after the Super Bowl to complete a trade that has been in the works before the game is played. Even though the Eagles have been speaking to multiple teams about trading Wentz, they want to make sure they get a nice return for their former first-round pick.
For the time being, the two teams involved in the Wentz sweepstakes appear to be the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts. Also, the Eagles are reportedly looking for a “Matthew Stafford-type” trade package for Wentz, which has prompted some hesitancy from the teams interested in the 28-year-old QB.
In all likeliness, Philadelphia would prefer to acquire a first-round pick from the 2021 NFL Draft in a deal for Wentz. By doing so, the Eagles could position themselves with two first-round picks in April, possibly allowing them to grab a quarterback if they aren't fully confident in Jalen Hurts.
A trade involving Carson Wentz this offseason seems inevitable and the Bears and Colts appear to be the frontrunners to land him. But with the 2021 NFL Draft not until April, Philly is fine playing the waiting game in hopes to get the richest offer possible for their struggling quarterback.
