The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12 in an AFC North showdown. The Steelers will have one of their defensive players back with Anthony Chickillo now cleared by the NFL after an investigation into an alleged domestic incident.

Nearly a month ago, Chickillo was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors stemming from an incident on October 20th. As a result, he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list, as the league began to look into the situation.

Then, not long after the arrest, the charges were dropped after Chickillo and his girlfriend chose not to pursue the charges. The NFL removed Chickillo from the commissioner's exempt list and he was able to return to the team.

The Steelers' backup linebacker was cleared by the NFL due to insufficient evidence in the case. Provided that, Chickillo won't be handed any punishment from the league.

Along with the legal issues, Chickillo has been dealing with a rib injury that kept him sidelined for last week's game versus the Cleveland Browns. As of now, Chickillo is probable to suit up for the Steelers for the first time since Week 10.

The Steelers drafted Chickillo in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Over his five seasons, Chickillo has totaled 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles.

Chickillo has spent most of his time on Pittsburgh's special teams unit over his career. He has, however, contributed four tackles and half a sack on the 72 defensive snaps that he's been given in 2019.
