Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been having a fantastic season, per usual, but he may be missing his first game of the year this coming Sunday at the worst possible time. Brown has been recovering from a knee injury that popped up on the Steelers' injury report after this past Sunday's loss to the New Orleans Saints.

According to Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk, Brown's status for this Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals is looking very murky:

Tomlin said that Brown has not been ruled out due to the lack of time on the practice field, but didn’t give an indication as to the likelihood that he could miss the game.

If Brown can't play, fellow wideouts JuJu Smith-Schuster, Eli Rogers, and James Washington will get an increase in targets. Cincinnati's defense has been nothing special this season, so the Steelers would still have a chance to put on a nice offensive outing. Although Brown usually leads the team in receiving categories, Smith-Schuster has been the leader in yards this season as part of one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL.

The Steelers would absolutely love to have Brown's talents out on the field Sunday as they hope to get into the playoffs with a win. Pittsburgh also needs the Cleveland Browns to beat the Baltimore Ravens for that to happen, so a lot is on the line for the Steelers this Sunday.
